There’s good news for all of you expecting to sell your New England lakefront home in 2013.
Massachusetts lakefront home sales peaked in 2005 in both Average Sale Price and Total Sales Volume (see chart below). But after bottoming out in 2009, they have shown a steady increase each year.
Projections for 2013 put both categories back to 2005 levels by the end of the year. Similar numbers were also noticed in all the New England states.
