Did you know that some lakefront homes require flood insurance and some do not? In order to secure financing to buy, build, or improve structures located in Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHA’s) you will be required to purchase flood insurance. Homeowner’s insurance does not cover floods. Flood insurance can cost anywhere from $1,200 to $2,500 per year! In our seminar, we will talk about how to determine if the home or land you are interested in resides in a flood zone and/or requires flood insurance.
We hope you can make it! To learn more about the seminar and to register on-line, click here.
